This
very old photo taken some time in 1920 is
of a family picnic on Sydney Harbour.
In the background you can see one of Sydney's
Ferries.
Dad is in the middle bottom of the photo.

and myself in Coramba sometime I think in 1957.
Amazing how places imprint on one's mind because
the visit to this farm is probably to blame
40 years later for the naming of my Garden Railway!
The
little boy in the front row, not looking overly
happy is my Father's fater Fred Morphett at
school in Erskine Park in Sydney's west in
the late 1800's I think. We thought of Erskine
Park as being in the bush - these days its
all suburbia!
